The Q The Fix in 8.6 Blackout with an 8-inch threaded barrel is a purpose-built short barreled rifle engineered for shooters who demand extreme performance in the most compact, suppressor-optimized bolt-action platform available. Designed from the ground up by Q to challenge traditional rifle layouts, The Fix combines lightweight materials, innovative ergonomics, and modern cartridge capability into a folding, adjustable SBR that excels in suppressed, close- to mid-range applications. Chambered in the hard-hitting 8.6 Blackout and feeding from a 10-round magazine, this rifle delivers serious terminal performance in a remarkably small footprint. What truly separates The Fix from conventional bolt-action rifles is its monolithic aluminum receiver, minimalist design, and rear-locking bolt system that reduces overall length without sacrificing strength. The 8.6 Blackout chambering is optimized for heavy subsonic bullets, making this SBR an exceptional host for suppressors while maintaining devastating energy on target. The 8-inch threaded barrel is purpose-built for suppressed use, allowing shooters to maximize maneuverability while retaining accuracy and ballistic efficiency within the cartridge's intended envelope. Q's folding and adjustable stock dramatically reduces transport length and allows precise fitment to the shooter, while maintaining rigidity and repeatability when deployed. Ergonomics are modern and intuitive, featuring a short-throw bolt, AR-style controls, and a vertical grip that promotes natural shooting positions. Despite its compact size, The Fix maintains excellent balance and shootability, making it ideal for hunting, professional use, and specialized suppressed roles where size and performance matter equally.
