Franklin Armory Militia Praefector-M, .308 Win, 20" Barrel, 20-Round, RISE RAVE 140, Black, Rifle The Franklin Armory Militia Praefector-M is a .308 Win AR-10 pattern rifle set up for steady, precise shooting from the bench, the prone position or a hunting blind. It is built on Franklin Armory's Militia lower and this configuration is fitted with a RISE Armament RAVE 140 flat-blade trigger. It pairs a 20" medium-contour barrel and rifle-length gas system with a 14" FSR free-float handguard, a Magpul PRS adjustable stock, an Ergo Ambi Sure Grip, a bilateral safety selector and a Triumvir muzzle device. It ships with a 20-round Magpul PMAG in black. Get a .308 AR built for long, steady shots. 20" Medium-Contour .308 Barrel The 20" medium-contour barrel uses a 1:10 twist for .308 Win and runs on a rifle-length gas system with a low-profile gas block. A longer gas system gives a softer, more consistent recoil impulse, which helps you watch your hits and stay on target for follow-up shots. The medium contour adds enough mass to stay consistent as the barrel heats up, without the weight of a full bull barrel. RISE Armament RAVE 140 Flat Trigger The RISE RAVE 140 is a drop-in, single-stage trigger with a flat blade. It gives a crisp break and a short reset, which makes precise shot placement easier than a standard mil-spec trigger. 14" FSR Free-Float Handguard Franklin's 14" FSR handguard free-floats the barrel, so pressure from a bipod, sling or rest does not shift your point of impact. It also gives you room for lights, a bipod mount or a barricade stop. Magpul PRS Stock and Ergo Grip The Magpul PRS stock adjusts for both length of pull and cheek height, so you can get a consistent cheek weld behind a magnified optic. The Ergo Ambi Sure Grip and bilateral safety selector work for right- and left-handed shooters. Bolt Carrier and Included Accessories A salt bath nitride bolt carrier resists wear and cleans up easily. The rifle comes with a Magpul PMAG 20 LR/SR Gen 3 magazine, a comprehensive safety manual, a cable lock and a lockable case. It has no iron sights, so plan on mounting your preferred scope.
