Designed for shooters who want maximum versatility in a compact, duty-ready platform, the Archon Firearms Gen 2 Type B in this configuration comes equipped with both a standard 4.3" barrel and a 5" 1/2x28 RH threaded barrel. Paired with a black slide, black monocoque frame, and direct-mount RMR cut, this model is built to run suppressed or unsuppressed with equal confidence. The Gen 2 Type B uses the AF-SpeedlockA(R) system-Archon's signature low-bore-axis locking design that keeps the barrel straight during cycling. This reduces muzzle rise, softens felt recoil, and keeps the slide nested deeper into the grip for faster, more controllable strings of fire. The steel monocoque frame and modular polymer grip provide a solid, consistent feel, while the Gen 2 grip architecture allows fine-tuning through interchangeable straps and extensions. A serrated rear sight paired with a fiber-optic front delivers a crisp visual reference, and the flared magwell ensures smooth reloads. With optic-ready capability, suppressor compatibility, and a full suite of accessories, this Type B configuration is set up for tactical shooters, suppressor owners, and anyone who demands adaptability from their 9mm sidearm.
