What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore these on a single digit day when most of the group was cutting laps short from cold hands, and the Tri Plex insulation kept mine warm through the whole session. Tossing a hand warmer into the zippered pocket for one particularly brutal chairlift ride made the difference on an already cold day."The X-Cell Under Glove from Swany goes on before the coldest mountain days, the ones where the forecast dips into single digits and confidence on the hill depends on whether your hands can keep up. Smooth Grain LeatherShield keeps snow and wet weather out, while the Tri Plex Alpha Insulation System maps warmth across the entire glove so cold never finds a way in. Stem Finger Construction keeps articulation sharp for gripping poles or working a zipper, and a leather pull tab makes getting the gloves on and off simple even with cold fingers. A zippered utility heat pocket with an AquaGuard lock down zipper holds a hand warmer for the harshest days, and the included Swany Leash keeps the gloves attached at the wrist so a chairlift ride never turns into a lost glove.
