Wide road cycling shoes and clipless pedals come together as one set in the Shimano RC910 S-PHYRE Wide + Dura-Ace PD-R9100 Shoe & Pedal Package. The shoe's DYNALAST 2. 0 wide last opens the forefoot, and its carbon hollow core sole sits low and stiff beneath it. The PD-R9100 pedals add an injection-molded carbon composite body, and their extra-wide platform lets pressure under the ball of the foot spread across more of the pedal. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"On the first ride the cleat clipped in exactly like it does on my other road shoes, because the RC910 Wide uses the standard road cleat pattern. The wide last changes how the foot sits and leaves that pattern alone."
