The Rossignol Smasher ski package pairs a ski that changes character with the snow. Camber underfoot holds an edge on firm groomers, and tip and tail rocker take over once the snow turns chopped up. The ski suits intermediate to advanced riders, while the soft boot and the Xpress 10 binding keep this all-mountain ski, binding, and boot package friendly for a skier moving from cruising into rougher terrain. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"Pushing speed through chop is where the soft boot shows its limit, because the ski keeps going after the boot stops giving me control. That is fine for a skier still building speed. For anyone who already charges, a stiffer boot is the first upgrade."
