The Rossignol Soul Jr ski package pairs a very soft, tip-rockered ski with a binding built to make a first season feel manageable instead of overwhelming. Early rise at the tip guides a wide, forgiving turn shape while a new skier is still finding balance, and the Kid 4 GW binding's wide step-in zone and independent heel release mean less waiting on an adult to click back in after a fall. Boot compatibility spans both junior and adult sole standards, so the setup can carry a growing kid through more than one pair of boots without a full remount. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"My kid grew two boot sizes between our first day and closing weekend, and I never had to touch the binding to make it work. The release let go clean on every fall on the bunny hill, so tumbles turned into giggles instead of tears."
