The Ortovox Venet Tour 30L Backpack opens from the front or the side, so the main compartment stays quick to reach even mid-tour without breaking stride. Narrow hip fins, load control cords, and the Full Contact Light back system keep the pack stable and snug against the body while it's open, so reaching for gear doesn't throw off balance on uneven terrain. Detachable side compression straps let the zipper open exactly as much as needed, nothing more. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I can pop the side access open, grab what I need, and keep moving without stopping to dig through a toploader. The pack stays snug against my back the whole time, so it doesn't swing or pull while it's open."
