evo.com | Shimano Pedals > Built for rowdy trail and enduro laps, the Shimano Deore XT PD-M8220 SPD Pedals give you a wide, stable platform with a grip pattern borrowed from Shimano's XTR trail pedals. Four adjustable traction pins keep your feet planted when you unclip mid-chunk, and a robust outer cage shields the binding mechanism from rock strikes. The included CL-MT001 cleats engage from multiple directions, so clipping back in after a dab or a hike-a-bike is quick and painless. A sealed cartridge axle keeps them spinning smooth through mud, dust and wet days, season after season. Improved Seal Design Keeps the pedals spinning smooth and true season after season. Wide Contact Area Modeled after the PD-M9220 for improved foot stability on descents. Dual-Sided SPD Binding Four Adjustable Traction Pins A raised platform and pins increase control, especially when unclipped.
