evo.com | Never Summer Snowboards > The Never Summer Infinity Snowboard has been proving that great things don't have an expiration date. As the longest-running board in the Never Summer lineup, the award-winning Infinity delivers endless possibilities with Triple Camber Hybrid, R.I.P. Edge Hold Technology, and a versatile personality that thrives everywhere from groomers to powder stashes to playful side hits. Ride it once and it's easy to see why so many keep coming back for more. Directional Shape Flex 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) UHMW Sidewall Unlike conventional ABS sidewalls, that have a tendency to crack in colder temperatures, UHMW POLYETHYLENE SIDEWALL maintain their integrity at any temperature. UHMW Polyethylene sidewalls also enhance damping characteristics above the metal edge. 2x4 Inserts Carbon VXR Laminate Technology CARBON VXR extends carbon fiber V's out from the inserts to the effective edge for quick response while stiffening the board torsionally in that area. Originating from the binding mounting zones, Carbon V's engage the edge for quick repsonse. Additionally, V's are positioned to the ends of the board providing maximum boost and pop when loaded up. This is an ideal layup to transfer energy to the end of the effective edge, tip/tail and still give the board a softer more forgiving mid-flex for torsional control. Powerful, dependable, and built to perform anywhere on the mountain, the Union Trilogy Snowboard Bindings have earned their reputation as the most trusted women's bindings in the game. They blend responsive support with a smooth, controlled ride feel that can handle everything from groomers and park laps to steep lines and choppy snow. Backed by riders like Jamie Anderson and Mia Brookes, the Trilogy is built to inspire progression and keep stoke high from first chair to last lap. Magnesium S2 with Steel Base Providing strength and durability, Union's magnesium buckles are four times stronger than aluminum, while being only half the weight. With ease in mind, spend more time riding, less time messing with buckles. S19 Duraflex ST Union's layered highback construction creates a harmonious balance between flex and response. This design helps to improve your edge to edge control while still having the tortional flex to stay playful. Ankle Strap: Exoframe 6.0 with PU Core Responsiveness and comfort can go hand in hand.
