evo.com | Never Summer Snowboards > The Never Summer Proto Type 3 Snowboard is a true twin built for riders who want a completely balanced feel underfoot, with matched flex and damp ratings of 6 out of 10 for predictable pop off both ends. The new Precision Stitched Carbon Matrix and T3 Twin Carbon Mapping team up with a Triple Camber Hybrid Profile and R.I.P. Edge-hold Technology, translating to serious stability and pop whether you're carving groomers or hunting fresh lines. True Twin Shape UHMW Sidewall Unlike conventional ABS sidewalls, that have a tendency to crack in colder temperatures, UHMW POLYETHYLENE SIDEWALL maintain their integrity at any temperature. UHMW Polyethylene sidewalls also enhance damping characteristics above the metal edge. 2x4 Inserts Flex 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) RDS 2 Damping System RDS 2 or Rubber Damping System 2 is the perfect balance of freeride stability and freestyle liveliness. A more substantial system than a freestyle board to stabilze the board at higher speeds but a little less than damping in a freeride board for leaving the snow. An ideal combination of vibration absorbtion and energetic feel. The Bataleon Ghost FASE Snowboard Bindings are the ones that keep up with your whole mountain, your whole day, and your whole vibe. Step in and the AutoBack highback closes automatically so you can spend less time fumbling at the top of the lift and more time actually riding whether that's lapping park, cruising groomers, or finding freshies in the trees. The MonoFrame chassis creates a seamless connection between you and your board so every carve feels as smooth and effortless as it looks, and the 3D AuxTech Cradle strap hugs your ankle like it was made for it, expanding around your boot to eliminate pressure points so your feet stay comfortable and happy all the way to last chair. Adjustable Toe Ramp Fully adjustable to dial in a perfect fit no matter which boot you're riding in. MonoFrame Chassis A one-piece chassis that provides a direct connection to the snowboard, allowing consistent flex and feel while riding, with fiberglass added to increase responsiveness. Ghost Highback The AutoBack offers hands-free entry, automatically closing when the boot enters and opening when it's time to unstrap. It also folds flat for skating, chairlifts, and storage. Lock-in SlapRatchet Quick tightening with reliable hold. Set it and forget it, or enjoy easy adjustment on the go.
