evo.com | Never Summer Snowboards > The Never Summer Valhalla Snowboard isn't interested in compromises, only podium finishes. Packing Never Summer's most advanced freeride technology into one unapologetically high-performance machine, it devours steep faces, bottomless powder, and high-speed groomers with the confidence of a supercar that was somehow given lift access. Once the Valhalla enters the quiver, everything else starts collecting dust. Directional Shape UHMW Sidewall Unlike conventional ABS sidewalls, that have a tendency to crack in colder temperatures, UHMW POLYETHYLENE SIDEWALL maintain their integrity at any temperature. UHMW Polyethylene sidewalls also enhance damping characteristics above the metal edge. 2x4 Inserts Flex 8.5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) STS Pre-Tensioned Fiberglass An advanced pre-hardened, pre-tensioned, layered laminate that has added elastomer stringers between the 0 degree and 90 degree glass fibers (the length of the effective edge).
