What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I toured deep into the backcountry on a multi-lap day and barely noticed the weight of these on the way up. Stepping into the NTN heel without bending down saved real time at every transition, especially with cold hands."The Newmark Lite Telemark Binding from ATK exists for the skiers who measure a good day by how far into the backcountry they got before anyone else showed up. At 340 grams, it disappears underfoot on the climb, so the miles add up without the usual toll on tired legs. A removable rear section strips weight during the ascent, while the step-in NTN heel brings back lateral control and a smooth, progressive flex the moment it's time to point downhill. The TeleLever system makes walk to ski transitions fast even in rough alpine conditions, and an adjustable climbing wedge keeps the skin track efficient no matter how steep the pitch gets. Built from aerospace-grade aluminum, it holds up to the terrain that drew you out here in the first place.
