"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I’ve worn the Methow Pants on everything from breezy fall hikes to snowshoe outings, and they’re killer at keeping me cozy without overheating. The stretch moves with me, and I love the brushed lining—feels like a microfleece hug.""Cool mornings and moody skies don’t hold us back—especially when we’re in the Methow Pants from Outdoor Research. Designed for active cold-weather pursuits like hiking, snowshoeing, or winter bike commuting, these hybrid-mapped soft shells balance warmth, weather protection, and breathability right where we need it. The bluesign®-approved fabrics are thoughtfully placed: a cozy, fleece-lined shell insulates the upper thighs and seat, while the lighter, quick-drying lower legs boost breathability and comfort in motion. Articulated knees offer natural mobility, and the internal drawcord keeps the fit dialed without excess bulk. With UPF 50+ protection and a DWR treatment, they’re built to take on shoulder-season adventures with style and technical performance."
