"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I've been riding the Scott Road RC Ultimate Cycling Shoe on long training days and fast group rides, and the difference a stiffness index 10 carbon sole makes on sustained climbs is genuinely noticeable. At 260 grams per shoe, it's one of the lightest options in the category, and the BOA Li2 closure keeps fit locked in precisely for hours without any pressure points or mid-ride adjustments.""The road stretches out ahead, the group is pushing pace, and the only thing between your legs and the pavement is your equipment. The Scott Road RC Ultimate Cycling Shoe is built for exactly that moment, a top-of-the-line road racing shoe where every design decision points toward one outcome: turning effort into speed as efficiently as possible. The HMX carbon sole and Carbitex carbon fiber and TPU composite upper combine to deliver a stiffness index 10 platform that eliminates energy loss through flex, while the slim racing last and BOA Li2 micro-adjustment system hold the foot in a precise, secure position from the first kilometer to the last. The adjustable ErgoLogic insole lets you dial in support to your specific anatomy, and at 260 grams per shoe, the Road RC Ultimate is light enough that you stop thinking about your feet entirely and focus on what's ahead."
