The Hornady SBR Suppressed .300 Blackout 178gr ELD Match Ammunition is a highly specialized, match-grade cartridge precision-engineered to optimize ballistics and cycling in short-barreled rifles (SBRs) running dedicated sound suppressors. This tactical target load features the technically advanced Extremely Low Drag Match (ELD Match) projectile, which utilizes a heat-resistant polymer tip and highly concentric Advanced Manufacturing Process (AMP) jackets to minimize drag and produce tight, highly repeatable long-range groupings. Formulated with clean-burning propellants tailored to shorter barrels, the load delivers a stable subsonic velocity that significantly reduces the loud muzzle blast ("crack") while preventing unburned powder residue from fouling your suppressor baffles or gas block. The carefully calculated 178-grain bullet choice strikes an exceptional balance between physical case capacity and high-coefficient flight stability, guaranteeing flawless semi-automatic feed reliability across standard AR-15 platforms. Sold as a standard 20-round retail box, this specialized subsonic match round gives competitive marksmen and tactical operators a hyper-quiet training option that replicates full-scale precision trajectory math.
