"Women's Xero Shoes® HFS II: If you've been curious about zero-drop running but aren't sure where to start, the Xero Shoes HFS II is a lightweight road running shoe that makes the transition feel natural. Built around a foot-shaped toe box that lets your toes spread and settle, it pairs a 0mm drop platform with a responsive, flexible sole that keeps you connected to the road without feeling harsh underfoot. The barely-there feel is real - this is a shoe for runners who want to move freely and feel the road beneath them. The HFS II keeps things simple and functional. The road-gripping tread gives you confident footing on pavement, while the moisture-wicking lining and breathable engineered mesh work together to keep airflow moving and your foot feeling fresh on longer efforts. Hidden instep and mid-foot tensioners let you dial in a secure, personalized fit so the shoe stays with you through faster turnover and tempo work - not just easy miles. The wider toe box also means your foot isn't being squeezed into a tapered shape, which makes a noticeable difference over the course of a run.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on customers who are transitioning to a more natural running style and they always comment on how much room their toes have. The zero-drop and flexible sole take a little getting used to, but once you're there, the shoe just gets out of the way and lets you run. The adjustable tensioners are a nice touch - it's not something you see on a lot of minimalist shoes and it really helps with fit."" - Sawyer, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Wilmette ILWho It's Best ForThe HFS II is a strong fit for women who prefer a minimalist or natural running experience on the road. If you run in zero-drop shoes or are working toward a more foot-forward stride, the flexible sole and wide toe box give you the freedom to move the way your foot naturally wants to. It also works well for runners who find traditional shoes too narrow or too structured and want something lighter and less restrictive for daily training.
