"Men's Saucony® Excursion TR18: If you're looking for a trail running shoe that keeps you comfortable from the first mile to the last, the Excursion TR18 is worth a serious look. Saucony built this men's trail shoe around a newly formulated VersaRun foam midsole that delivers a softer, more cushioned underfoot feel - so whether you're hiking a local path or grinding through a longer trail run, your feet stay comfortable throughout. It's a neutral trail shoe that balances protection and comfort without feeling heavy or stiff. The XT-600 carbon rubber outsole features 4mm lugs that grip well on dirt, gravel, and uneven terrain, giving you confident footing when the trail gets technical. The breathable mesh upper keeps airflow moving around your foot, while reinforced protection at the heel and toe adds durability where trail shoes take the most abuse. If you tend to size up in trail shoes, note that the Excursion TR18 fits best when you go up a half size. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I recommend the Excursion TR18 a lot to guys who want a trail shoe that doesn't feel punishing. The VersaRun foam is noticeably softer than you'd expect at this price point, and the lugs actually grip on loose dirt without feeling aggressive on packed surfaces. It's a solid everyday trail option."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner or hiker who wants a comfortable, well-cushioned trail shoe for everyday outdoor use, the Excursion TR18 is a strong choice.
