"Women's Saucony® Guide TR GTX: If you want the cushioned feel of a road shoe with the grip and protection to handle trails, the Guide TR GTX is worth a look. This women's trail running shoe pairs max cushioning with a waterproof upper, making it a strong choice for runners who want to move between surfaces without giving up comfort or weather protection. The PWRUN midsole delivers a broad, cushioned base that feels soft underfoot while returning enough energy to keep your stride moving. Underfoot, the PWRTRAC outsole features 3.5mm lugs that dig in on loose or uneven terrain, giving you confident traction where a standard road shoe would struggle. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit upper keeps water out without adding bulk, so your feet stay dry whether you're running through wet grass, light mud, or early-morning trail conditions. If you're sizing up, note that this shoe runs best when ordered a half size up for a comfortable fit.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I really like this one for runners who want to take their usual cushioned ride off-road without starting over with a completely different shoe. The GORE-TEX upper is a big deal in wet conditions - your feet stay dry in a way that makes a real difference on cold or rainy mornings. The lugs give you enough grip to feel secure on the trail without making the shoe feel clunky on the way back to the parking lot."" - Rachel, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Carlsbad, CAWho It's Best ForIf you run a mix of roads and trails and want one shoe that handles both, the Guide TR GTX is a practical pick. It's a good fit for women who prioritize cushioning and want waterproof protection for wet or unpredictable conditions - think early-morning trail runs, rainy days, or routes that cross between pavement and dirt. The max cushioning makes it comfortable for longer efforts, and the grippy outsole gives you the confidence to stay on trail when the surface gets loose.
