Clear some space on your casting deck for Lew's Speed Spool ITB Baitcast Reel, mounted to your favorite bass rod. This reel is going to blow you away with its incredibly smooth, fluid operation. Precision casting and retrieving become virtually effortless, so natural is the feel, and you should start to see the results in your livewell almost immediately. It starts with Lew's advanced ParaMag ITB braking system, a self-tuning technology that adapts seamlessly to your casting speed. With supreme balance, zero friction, and noise-free performance, it delivers near-perfection on every cast by automatically applying just the right amount of braking force every inch of the way. And of course, the Speed Spool ITB is built for peak performance in all aspects of its operation. The aluminum frame and C45 carbon sideplates ensure strength and durability without added weight; the 200-size double-anodized aluminum spool, made from aircraft-grade material, is equipped with Lew's Speed Knot quick line attachment system. Inside, hard anodized aluminum alloy Speed Gears, machined on Hamai CNC machines, work in tandem with the P2 SuperPinion bearing-supported pinion gear for unmatched reliability. The 10-bearing system features double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings, plus Lew's Zero Reverse 1-way clutch for eye-crossing hooksets; the premium carbon fiber drag stack provides up to 20 lbs. of drag force. And every Speed Spool ITB baitcaster comes fitted with Lew's signature convenience features, including the patented Speed Dial line indicator, patented Speed Keeper hook keeper, Speed Lube all-weather lubrication, and an external lube port for quick on-the-water touch-ups. Altogether, Lew's Speed Spool ITB offers a mix of power, smoothness, and convenience that a dedicated angler can truly appreciate.
