The Mepps Aglia Spinner is the original French spinner and is recognized as the world s #1 lure. Known for catching more trophy fish than any other lure, it is popular with anglers globally for its versatility in targeting nearly any freshwater species and many saltwater fish. Its proven performance makes it a trusted choice for anglers of all skill levels. Lure size plays a key role in fishing success. Smaller lures are ideal for smaller fish, while larger lures target bigger fish. Plain spinners have a smaller profile than dressed spinners, making them perfect for panfish and small stream trout. Dressed spinners can attract larger fish, but when fishing streams, plain spinners often result in higher catch rates.
