Product Features Starting at compact 29 inches axle to axle, these are the most compact premier bows in our the Hoyt lineup. Whether your tree stand is strapped in a tight spot, you regularly hunt in blinds, or you just prefer a compact set up, the AX-2 29 is the bow for you. Equipped with Hoyt's famously smooth HBX cam system, the Gen 4 HBX cam is so smooth and easy to shoot, you ll wear the center of your target out in no time. HBX Gen 4 takes smooth to the next level with increased performance across the full draw length range and 1/4" draw length adjustments for the perfect fit. A bow so smooth to draw that 70 pounds feels like 60, so balanced that it practically aims itself, and a shot so dead and quiet you ll feel like a ninja. While Hoyt engineers were busy making the Alpha AX-2 shoot even better than its predecessor, they somehow managed to trim some weight. The Alpha AX-2 29 is 1/4 lbs. lighter than the Alpha X. The all-new HBXSD cam is designed for optimal performance in draw lengths from 23 to 27 and can be adjusted in half-inch increments across its draw length range. If you ve been frustrated with the lack of premier bows available in your draw length, these bows are here to put a smile on your face and meat in your freezer. Our engineers designed WireWRX strings as part of the bow, and every Hoyt bow shoots better with WireWRX.
