The Xeno Adapter was designed to work in conjunction with Dead Air Silencer s Xeno Flash Hider and Xeno Brake. This durable accessory provides a rock solid suppressor mounting interface with excellent repeatability and return to zero. Once paired with a Xeno Brake or Flash Hider, this configuration sits at a shallow depth in the suppressor s blast chamber. This in turn prolongs suppressor life and provides excellent sound reduction by minimizing the focused erosion on your baffles. The short length and lock up also makes the Xeno Adapter well-suited for suppressors with smaller blast chambers, and utilizes 1-3/8-24 threads to make it compatible with Dead Air s Nomad series, as well as many other suppressors on the market. The Xeno Adapter and Xeno Brake come together via left-handed threads this eliminates the chance of the adapter unthreading when the suppressor is removed, and allows the shooter to confirm the mount it tight during installation. In addition, the Xeno Brake is constructed from ultra-hard 4140 nitrided steel for outstanding resistance to corrosion, carbon fouling, and copper deposits.
