Machined from rugged 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and coated in a Mil-Spec Type III hardcoat black anodized finish, this chassis block embeds directly into the forend of the stock to deliver rock-solid routing stability without flexing. It is specifically bored out to an expanded 1.350-inch inside diameter to let heavy, large-contour precision match barrels up to 1.325 inches pass completely through without touching. The reversible upper configuration yields a 5-inch, 12-slot Picatinny rail section that can be cantilevered forward or backward, and it includes an offset Picatinny rail layout for mounting co-aligned laser target pointers or infrared illuminators.
