The Hornady Heavy Magnum Coyote 12 Gauge 3" BB Nickel-Plated Ammunition is a premier, high-density predator hunting cartridge engineered to deliver lethal stopping power up to 50 yards away. This magnum shell carries a substantial 1.5-ounce payload of uniform, nickel-plated lead BB shot, providing a slick protective finish that prevents pellet deformation and maximizes deep terminal penetration on tough targets. Driven by specialized propellants to reach a blistering 1,300 FPS muzzle velocity, it effectively flattens trajectories to minimize wind deflection over typical hunting distances. The core feature of this cartridge is Hornady's advanced Versatite wad technology, which strips completely clean from the flying payload downrange to produce exceptionally tight, uniform pattern densities without requiring aftermarket barrel or choke modifications. Sold in a standard 10-round retail box, it serves as a highly economical, match-grade alternative to ultra-expensive tungsten alloys for serious coyote and predator hunters.
