The Colt 1911 Delta Elite Optics-Ready 10mm is a robust, single-action semi-automatic pistol built on the classic. Chambered in the powerful 10mm Auto cartridge, this model features a heavy, solid stainless steel frame and slide designed to effectively handle the high-pressure dynamics and recoil of magnum-class semi-auto loads. The factory optics-ready slide cut allows shooters to seamlessly mount micro red dot sights for accelerated target acquisition, while maintaining standard dovetail Novak contrast sights as reliable backups. It retains the traditional 1:16 right-hand twist rifling across its 5-inch match-grade barrel to deliver excellent accuracy out to long distances. Adorned with distinct black composite grip panels featuring the signature red Delta Triangle medallions, this handgun integrates a modernized three-hole aluminum skeletonized trigger, an upswept beaver-tail grip safety, and an extended thumb safety to yield optimal combat or hunting control.
