Engineered with feedback from law enforcement, military personnel, and civilian shooters all over the world, the GLOCK G19 Gen6 Optics-Ready Semi-Auto Pistol with Holosun EPS Carry RD-2 Optic represents the pinnacle of the GLOCK handgun you know and love. First and foremost, the grip now features a palmswell built around the ideal average hand size along with RTF6 texturing that's more comfortable and less abrasive. The trigger undercut provides a higher grip with more control. The textured thumb rests also aids in control. The trigger itself now features a flat blade and reduced reach from the rear of the slide a nice upgrade for shooters who found the grip too big or blocky. That said, the trigger pull is identical to prior models. In addition to the major improvements, the G19 Gen6 also sports a number of smaller enhancements that shooters have been asking for. The slide serrations are angled deeper into the frame for easier grip, an enlarged slide stop border prevents accidental activation, and a larger beavertail provides a higher hand position. Of course, your older 9mm double-stack magazines will still function in the Gen6, but it should be noted that older barrels are not compatible with this model. This model comes with an optics-ready slide equipped with the Holosun EPS Carry RD-2, featuring an enclosed design, low deck height, and shake-awake technology. Includes 2 extra backstraps of different sizes.Improvements over previous generations: Updated grip ergonomics with palmswell RTF6 grip texturing is more comfortable and less abrasive Pronounced trigger undercut for higher grip Textured thumb rest Flat-blade trigger with reduced reach Optics-ready slide with Holosun EPS Carry RD-2 optic Deeper slide serrations for easier grip Larger beavertail for higher grip Enlarged slide stop border prevents accidental activation Compatible with older-generation double-stack 9mm magazines
