"The original Winchester 1873 became an overnight sensation when it was released, finding use with civilians and military personnel both here and overseas. The Taylor's & Company 1873 Tuned Lever-Action Rifle is a fine reproduction of the legendary original, boasting a custom action that makes it incredibly smooth to operate. The Taylor tuning includes hand polishing, custom hammer and lever springs, custom magazine tube spring, and an overall lightened action with no short-stroke links and no leather. The result is one of the smoothest hammer and trigger pulls on the market. This model also features a case-hardened frame, 20"" octagonal blued barrel, and classic straight walnut stock and forend. Dovetail blade front sight and buckhorn rear.
