Building on the proven foundation of the original SAINT, the Springfield Armory SAINT Victor V2 B5 AR-10 Semi-Auto Rifle takes the performance to another level with numerous improvements. First is the upgraded 4150 CMV barrel with continuous taper and 4-prong flash hider, an enhancement of the original's 4140 CMV steel government-profile barrel with 2-chamber brake. Likewise, the free-floating handguard features M-LOK slots, an uninterrupted top rail, and a third lock plate (the previous version only used 2 and didn't have true M-LOK slots). The mil-spec charging handle has been upgraded to a Radian Raptor LT model, and the safety has been upgraded to a 45 ambidextrous safety with short throw, eliminating the discomfort of a full-length, right-side selector. And lastly, the spring-loaded sights have been replaced with true low-profile, manual flip-up sights that sit much lower when closed.Features: Mid-length gas system with taper-pinned gas block 4150 CMV steel barrel with continuous taper 4-prong flash hider Forged 7075-T6 upper and lower receiver Nickel boron-coated GI trigger B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stockV2 upgrades: 4150 CMV barrel with continuous taper (original barrel was 4140 CMV with gov't profile) 4-prong flash hider (original was a 2-chamber brake) Free-floating handguard with M-LOK slots, uninterrupted top rail, and third lock plate Radian Raptor LT charging handle (original was a mil-spec version) 45 short-throw ambidextrous safety (original was a full-length, ride-side safety that caused trigger-finger discomfort) Low-profile manual flip-up sights (old sights were spring-loaded and sat very tall when closed) Upgraded 7075-T6 buffer tube (old model was 6061 aluminum) Intermediate-length gas system and heavier H2 buffer Non-adjustable gas block that's the proper height
