The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite Stainless Bolt-Action Rifle is built to deliver tack-driving accuracy in the most demanding conditions. Like all X-Bolts, the X-Bolt 2 Hunter starts with a steel receiver that's glass-bedded within the composite stock. Glass bedding is an extremely intensive and time-consuming process, but it produces a true free-floated barrel that delivers consistent accuracy without interference from unnecessary contact points. For weather resistance, the X-Bolt 2 features the Vari-Tech stock that's adjustable for length of pull and comb height and comes with interchangeable grip modules and overmolded grip surfaces. The sporter-contour stainless steel barrel with matte finish provides the ideal blend of accuracy and rugged durability. The muzzle is threaded M13x0.75 to accept the included radial muzzle brake. The updated receiver includes additional bolt guidance surface area for smoother operation, and the spiral-fluted bolt with ergonomic bolt knob and short 60 throw provides fast cycling and clears large objective sizes. The DLX trigger features a 3-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel for absolute control in precision shooting. The trigger is set to 3.5 lbs. from the factory and can be adjusted down to 3 lbs. Other features include a bolt unlock button, top tang safety, and Inflex recoil pad.
