The Avery Boater's Dog Parka is designed for retrievers and other working dogs that accompany hunters into cold, wet environments. This 2XL version is made for a dog measuring approximately 20 inches around the neck and 33 inches around the chest, with measurements taken snugly using a soft tape. Its tapered shape and 5mm neoprene construction help retain body heat while allowing the parka to follow the dog's body more closely than a loose outer layer. This is particularly useful when a dog is repeatedly entering cold water, riding in an exposed boat or waiting between retrieves in windy conditions. The Realtree Max-7 camouflage pattern coordinates with modern waterfowl-hunting equipment and helps the dog blend into marshes, flooded fields and other wetland settings. An internal webbing harness reinforces the parka and adds stability, while integrated carry handles give the handler practical lifting points when helping a dog into a boat, onto a stand or over an obstacle. The design also provides flotation support and protective coverage without replacing responsible supervision around water. Double-tacked seams reinforce areas that may experience stress during active use. A full-length zipper cover helps shield the closure, and the enlarged cold-weather zipper pull is easier to operate when temperatures fall or the handler is wearing gloves. Beyond helping conserve warmth, the neoprene parka can reduce the energy a working dog expends through shivering and help its coat dry more efficiently between retrieves. Correct sizing remains important for warmth, mobility and safe use, so the dog's neck and chest should be measured before fitting. Intended for waterfowl hunting, boating and cold-weather field work, this exact configuration combines the 2XL cut with the Max-7 camouflage finish.Specifications and Features: 2XL fit: 20-inch neck and 33-inch chest Realtree Max-7 camouflage pattern Tapered 5mm neoprene construction Internal webbing harness for strength and stability Integral carry handles for easier lifting Full-length zipper cover Cold-weather zipper pull Double-tacked seams Provides flotation and protective coverage Brand: Avery Series: Boater's Dog Parka Product Type: Hunting Dog Parka Manufacturer Part Number: 03005 UPC: 700905030057
