Winchester Supreme Long Range Features Winchester Supreme Long Range ammunition is built around the BC Max bullet which uses a precision-drawn thick-walled jacket to deliver devastating terminal performance alongside long range flight stability. In 6.5 PRC this 140 grain load leaves the muzzle at 2900 fps and generates 2614 ft lbs of energy giving hunters the velocity and knockdown power needed for game at extended distances. A match grade primer ensures consistent reliable ignition shot after shot an important factor when precision at long range is the goal. Brass casings provide dependable extraction and the option to reload once the components have been fired. The BC Max bullet design is described by Winchester as Precision Rifle Perfected reflecting an engineering focus on maintaining accuracy and stability well beyond typical hunting ranges.
