Watchtower Firearms Raider X Features The Watchtower Firearms Raider X is built around a 16 inch cold hammer forged barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO a manufacturing process known for extending barrel life and delivering superior accuracy under sustained fire. The barrel is finished in black nitride and threaded at 1/2x28 giving the rifle suppressor-ready versatility for operators who need reduced signature. A carbine-length gas system paired with an adjustable gas block lets the rifle s cycling be tuned for different ammunition and accessory loads including suppressed operation. A 1:7 inch twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 bullet weights for reliable terminal performance across mission profiles. Ambidextrous controls give the Raider X seamless handling from either side of the rifle a critical feature for law enforcement and tactical operators who must run the gun from both shoulders. The aluminum receiver is finished in a hard coat anodized black and topped with a Picatinny rail for optics mounting while front and rear flip-up sights provide a reliable backup sighting solution. A B5 grip and polymer stock round out the ergonomics for a secure adaptable fit across different operators and body armor setups. At 6.5 pounds and ready to accept a 30-round magazine the Raider X Special Duty rifle ships complete and ready for duty personal defense or advanced tactical use.
