Spyderco Tenacious Features The Spyderco Tenacious in this configuration adds titanium handle scales and a stout Reeve Integral Lock mechanism to the time-tested Tenacious design creating a more premium version of a popular everyday carry folder. The R.I.L. lock relies on the titanium handle itself to lock the blade open reducing the number of separate moving parts compared to a traditional liner lock. A stainless steel interface is built into the lock area to provide a durable wear surface where the lock bar contacts the blade tang. The full flat ground 8Cr13MoV blade offers a thin efficient edge geometry suited to everyday cutting tasks. To complement the anodized blue titanium scales the 3.35 inch drop point blade is finished in a non-reflective black oxide coating that reduces glare and adds a layer of corrosion resistance. The broad-based four position pocket clip allows the knife to be carried tip up or tip down in either a right or left front pocket giving the user flexibility in carry style. Matching black coatings on the clip and other handle hardware tie the whole knife together visually against the blue scales. At 7.74 inches overall this Tenacious variant suits everyday carry users and knife enthusiasts looking for an upgraded take on a proven Spyderco design.
