Sellier and Bellot eXergy Blue Features The Sellier and Bellot eXergy Blue load is built around a modern highly efficient lead free bullet design that incorporates a boat tail base paired with a pointed blue polymer tip. This combination improves the bullet s ballistic coefficient for a flatter trajectory and better retained energy as range increases which benefits hunters and tactical shooters alike. The solid copper construction maximizes weight retention on impact helping the bullet penetrate deeply while still expanding reliably at all practical ranges. Leaving the muzzle at 2766 feet per second this .308 Winchester load generates 1868 foot pounds of energy for effective performance on game and targets. Each round uses a reloadable brass case with a boxer primer giving handloaders the option to reuse components after firing. The 20 round box count makes it practical to pick up for a range session or a hunting trip without committing to a larger case purchase. Because the bullet is lead free this load is a strong option for hunters in areas with lead ammunition restrictions or anyone who prefers to avoid lead exposure during cleanup.
