Samson B.R.E. Features The Samson B.R.E. or Bufferless Receiver Extension is built for platforms that do not use a traditional buffer tube and spring system such as the Brownells BRN-180 Sig Sauer MCX and Sig Sauer MPX. Despite lacking a buffer the extension is designed to seamlessly accept mil-spec AR-15 adjustable carbine stocks giving builders access to the wide range of aftermarket stocks already on the market. Once a compatible stock is installed the extension offers 6-position adjustability letting the shooter dial in their preferred length of pull. An integrated ramp drastically improves the ease of installing an AR-15 stock onto the bufferless system compared to earlier designs. The folding Picatinny adapter built into the B.R.E. lets the stock fold flat against the receiver for a more compact overall package useful for storage or transport. This folding mechanism can be removed and reattached on the opposite side giving builders the flexibility to configure right-side folding based on their handling preference. Finished in Flat Dark Earth the extension is sold without a stock so builders will need to supply their own mil-spec compatible stock separately.
