Rearden Argos Features The Rearden Argos scope mount is machined from 7075-T651 aluminum a material chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio and ability to withstand repeated recoil without shifting zero. Its 35mm tube diameter accommodates larger scope tubes increasingly common on precision rifles giving shooters a secure clamping surface. The 1.74 inch height is set to clear common action and barrel profiles while keeping the shooter s eye in a natural position behind the optic. Anodized in Flat Dark Earth the finish resists scratches and corrosion while matching the aesthetic of many modern rifle builds. Built to mount directly to a Picatinny rail the Argos gives shooters a straightforward repeatable installation without needing proprietary rail systems. Rearden was founded on the idea that a challenge is simply a problem waiting for the right engineering solution and that philosophy carries into this mount s design and construction. At 11 ounces and 7.75 inches in length the Argos is substantial enough to provide a rock-solid platform without becoming unwieldy on the rifle. For shooters running 35mm optics who need a mount built to hold zero through hard use the Rearden Argos is a dependable choice.
