Rearden AVG Features The Rearden AVG muzzle device is built with a square shoulder design that ensures the device sits flat and properly aligned against the barrel shoulder a critical factor for consistent suppressor mounting. Machined from steel and finished with a nitride coating the AVG achieves a tighter seal than an untreated finish once properly torqued and rocksetted to the barrel. The 1/2x28 thread pitch is intended specifically for 5.56 and .223 bore sizes and Rearden notes it is not compatible with calibers like .350 Legend or 9mm. Using a 13/16 wrench for installation keeps the process straightforward for armorers and end users alike. Designed to attach directly to Atlas and Atlas XL suppressor adapters the AVG extends compatibility with most suppressors currently on the market that use that mounting interface. Rearden recommends torquing the muzzle device to approximately 15 to 25 ft lbs and the suppressor itself to 10 ft lbs for proper alignment and a secure seal. An alignment rod should always be used to confirm the entire system is set up correctly before firing. The Rearden AVG is for sale at GrabAGun for shooters running an Atlas-compatible suppressor setup who need a dependable properly sealed muzzle interface.
