Radian Weapons Magazine Base Pad Features The Radian Weapons Magazine Base Pad is machined from billet aluminum giving it the strength and precision fit needed to replace the factory base plate on compatible Canik magazines without altering magazine function. By adding weight to the bottom of the magazine the base pad helps ensure the empty magazine falls clear of the magwell during a reload rather than sticking or requiring a manual strip. This matters most in competition and defensive shooting scenarios where even a split-second delay in a reload can cost time that cannot be recovered. The pad is a direct fit replacement for the Canik MC9L MC9LS MC9 Prime MC9 Prime NC and Prime Radian OEM magazines so installation does not require modification. Beyond weight the pad s larger surface area gives the shooter more material to grip when drawing a loaded magazine from a pouch or pocket under time pressure reducing fumbling during a reload. This combination of a cleaner drop-free release and an easier draw translates directly into faster magazine changes on the range or in competition. Sold as a set of two the base pads let a shooter upgrade multiple magazines at once rather than piecemeal. Finished in black to match factory Canik components the Radian Weapons Magazine Base Pad is a simple effective upgrade for shooters who want their reloads to be as fast as their trigger work.
