It pairs with the AFTERBURNER compensator built from hardened 17-4 stainless steel which together deliver up to a 44 percent reduction in recoil with 115 grain 9mm ammunition. At only 0.47 long the AFTERBURNER is more compact than most full-size compensators on the market while outperforming many of them keeping the pistol s overall length manageable. A gas sealing chamber design helps the barrel and compensator work together efficiently to redirect gas for recoil control. The INTRA-LOK mounting system is the key to how these parts fit together using a tapered locking pin that interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel to perfectly time the compensator every time it is installed.
