Midwest Industries Kuna SD Handguard Features The Midwest Industries Kuna SD Handguard is constructed as a rugged one-piece free-float design made specifically to upgrade the Springfield Armory Kuna platform. Built from 6061 aluminum and hard coat anodized for corrosion resistance the handguard is engineered to hold zero and stand up to years of hard use. The 1.850 inch internal diameter is sized to accommodate a suppressor while still leaving the M-LOK slots fully usable for mounting accessories. At 8 inches overall this handguard adds 4.5 inches of rail length to the firearm giving shooters significantly more real estate forward of the receiver. A high-quality MIL-STD 1913 top rail is T-marked for precise repeatable accessory placement every time an optic or sight is removed and reinstalled. M-LOK compatible slots run the length of the handguard and a five-slot M-LOK polymer rail section is included for mounting lights lasers or other accessories where needed. Backed by a lifetime warranty and made entirely in the USA this handguard reflects the same quality standards Midwest Industries applies across its handguard lineup. It is a straightforward durable way for Kuna owners to add rail space and suppressor compatibility available now at GrabAGun.
