Mesa Tactical LEO Gen II Telescoping Stock Adapter Features The Mesa Tactical LEO Gen II stock adapter replaces the Remington 870 s factory stock mount with a system built to accept standard AR-15 pistol grips and collapsible stocks. This conversion gives the shotgun handling characteristics much closer to a carbine which eases the transition for shooters already familiar with AR-pattern manual of arms. The adapter is engineered specifically with law enforcement use in mind where quick target transitions and consistent cheek weld matter under stress. Despite the AR-style furniture the system is designed to preserve a clear sight line to open or bead sights already mounted on the shotgun. A telescoping stock paired with the adapter lets the user instantly adjust length of pull to fit their own body size or to compensate for the added bulk of body armor and winter clothing. The pistol grip configuration improves control and comfort during recoil-heavy shotgun strings compared to a traditional stock. Finished in black to match most tactical shotgun builds the LEO Gen II adapter is purpose-built for the Remington 870 12 gauge platform. The Mesa Tactical LEO Gen II makes the 870 easier to stow transport and deploy quickly giving duty and defensive shotgun owners a meaningful upgrade in handling.
