Lyman X-Block Bench Block Features The Lyman Products X-Block Bench Block gives gunsmiths and hobbyists a dedicated surface for pin work that standard shop tools cannot match. The dual slot design a V channel paired with a rounded channel running across the face cradles round and flat surfaces alike so pistol barrels slides and frames all seat securely while pins are driven out. Multiple holes through the block body give pins somewhere to go as they clear the part preventing the tool from marring a finish or binding a punch mid stroke. This combination of features lets the block handle a wide variety of projects rather than just one specific firearm pattern. Built from a tough polymer the block resists denting and scratching the parts it supports protecting blued nickel or coated finishes from the kind of damage a steel or aluminum surface could cause. A magnet is molded directly into the back of the block so pins and small parts are captured the moment they drop free instead of bouncing across the bench or onto the floor. At a full 5 diameter the block offers a wide stable footprint that keeps the work steady under hammer and punch strikes. Gray with orange accents the Lyman X-Block Bench Block is a practical addition to any home workshop or professional gunsmithing bench.
