Iver Johnson IJ1000 Features The Iver Johnson IJ1000 brings revolver-style operation to a .410 shotgun feeding five shells from a rotating cylinder rather than a tube or box magazine. The double action trigger lets shooters choose between cocking the external hammer for a lighter single action pull or simply pulling through in double action for faster repeat shots. A 3 inch chamber gives the IJ1000 the versatility to run both 2.75 inch and 3 inch .410 shells adapting to different loads for hunting small game or clay targets. The 20 inch barrel accepts three included removable internal choke tubes letting shooters tailor shot pattern density to the task at hand from tight patterns on distant birds to open patterns for close-range work. A fiber optic front sight gathers available light for a bright fast sight picture while a traditional blade rear sight provides a simple reference for quick target acquisition. A Picatinny optics rail mounted on the receiver gives shooters the option to add a red dot sight for faster target transitions in the field. The matte black chrome finish on both the barrel and receiver resists corrosion while giving the gun a clean low-glare appearance. A checkered walnut stock and forend offer classic styling and a secure grip and a thick rubber buttpad helps manage recoil from heavier .410 loads. At just under 6 pounds and 38.5 inches overall the Iver Johnson IJ1000 is a unique versatile .410 shotgun for sale at GrabAGun.
