Heckler and Koch MR762 A4 Features The Heckler and Koch MR762 A4 runs on a short stroke gas piston operating system that keeps hot carbon fouling out of the action allowing the rifle to run longer with less maintenance and less wear on internal components. An adjustable gas regulator lets the operator tune the system specifically for suppressed or unsuppressed deployment a level of control that separates this platform from standard direct impingement rifles. The 13 inch black phosphate barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and capped with an A2 birdcage with a 1:11 inch twist rate suited to heavier 7.62 x 51mm projectiles. A 10-round capacity backs up the rifle s reach and the fully ambidextrous controls let left and right handed shooters run the gun the same way. The black anodized aluminum receiver carries a full length Picatinny rail for mounting optics and accessories while the M-LOK handguard provides mounting points for lights lasers and grips without the bulk of a quad rail. An adjustable black polymer stock lets the shooter set length of pull for different body types or loadouts and the black polymer grip rounds out a consistent all-black furniture package. At 7.95 pounds the MR762 A4 stays manageable for a 7.62 caliber SBR despite its piston system and aluminum receiver.
