Geissele Automatics Super Modular Rail MK18 Features The Geissele Automatics Super Modular Rail MK18 is based on the MK16 M-LOK platform but trimmed to a smaller diameter and overall height creating a slimmer profile favored by competition shooters. Its flat base includes an Arca-style 35mm form with a 45 degree dovetail allowing the handguard to slide into any position along an Arca-Swiss Quick Release mounting base. A proprietary 2.25 inch long barrel nut interfaces directly with the receiver creating a mounting platform that stays straight and true along the entire length of the free float rail. This precision fit helps preserve accuracy by eliminating stress on the barrel from the handguard. Machined from 7000 series aluminum using 3D precision processes the MK18 is both strong and lightweight at approximately 17 ounces for the 16.5 inch length. M-LOK slots at the left right and bottom quadrants along with the upper 45 degree positions give builders room to mount lights grips bipods and other accessories exactly where needed. The handguard is finished in a durable Type 3 hardcoat anodize for long-term wear resistance in Black. Compatible with mil-spec AR15 pattern rifles the Geissele Super Modular Rail MK18 gives competitive shooters and serious AR builders a proven modular foundation to customize their rifle.
