Front and rear slide serrations give the shooter multiple gripping points for fast positive manipulation whether racking the slide from the front or the rear. The optics ready slide accepts a red dot using either the RMR or RMSc footprint so the shooter can mount their preferred micro red dot without a separate adapter plate. A flat faced trigger provides a smooth consistent pull that helps the shooter stay on target through recoil management and the frame and slide are built from glass filled polymer and steel for a durable lightweight package weighing only 1.4 lbs empty. Out of the box the GF9 Rapture ships with a red fiber optic front sight and a green fiber optic rear sight giving a fast high visibility sight picture for close range defensive shooting. Aggressive grip stippling and a heavy thumb rest give the shooter a secure purchase on the frame even under recoil or with sweaty hands. Four interchangeable backstraps at 0 2 4 and 6 degrees let the shooter dial in the exact grip angle that fits their hand and shooting style.
