Dickinson 1911 Adam Commander Features The Dickinson LLC 1911 Adam Commander is built around a forged steel frame and barrel a construction method chosen for its strength and durability over cast alternatives. The Commander-length button rifled barrel measures 4.37 and wears a matte black finish balancing a shorter more concealable profile with the reliable accuracy 1911 shooters expect. Precision CNC machining on the slide ensures every dimension and specification meets rigorous tolerances resulting in smooth consistent cycling. A serrated black steel slide provides a secure purchase for racking the pistol quickly even with wet or gloved hands. A steel frame with an integrated beavertail protects the web of the shooter s hand from slide bite while improving control during rapid strings of fire. The single-action-only trigger paired with a manual thumb safety gives a crisp consistent break that 1911 shooters rely on for precision work. Classic wood grip panels provide a traditional look and a secure hold and a bead front sight keeps the sight picture simple and fast to acquire. Weighing 2.31 lbs and holding 8+1 rounds of 9mm the Dickinson 1911 Adam Commander is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters wanting a classic steel-framed 1911 built for duty and range use alike.
