Diamondback DBX Pistol Features The Diamondback DBX Pistol is chambered in 5.7 X 28mm and runs on a locked breech dual gas piston system with four adjustment settings letting shooters tune the action for different ammunition loads and reduce felt recoil. The forged 7075-T6 aluminum monolithic upper keeps the receiver rigid while trimming weight and the 8 inch barrel carries a 1-in-9 twist rate suited to the 5.7x28mm cartridge s lightweight high-velocity bullets. A 1/2x28 right-hand threaded muzzle accepts a compatible muzzle device and the standard AR15 mil-spec trigger gives shooters a familiar consistent break. The 30-round FN Five-Seven compatible magazine delivers substantial on-board capacity for a pistol-format firearm. Despite its capability the DBX Pistol measures only about 1.75 inches wide at the controls and closer to 1 inch wide through most of the frame giving it an exceptionally slim carry profile at just over 15 inches long. The M-LOK compatible handguard allows shooters to mount lights lasers or other accessories directly to the forend. A rear picatinny rail with QD sling mount and a reversible charging handle round out the ergonomic package while the included Strike FSA dual folding brace lets the overall length collapse from 25.4 inches down to 16.9 inches for compact storage or transport. This combination of capacity control adjustability and a collapsible brace suits shooters building a dedicated home defense or range pistol in 5.7x28mm.
