Crickett My First Shotgun Features The Crickett My First Shotgun is purpose built around a pump action 20 gauge platform sized and tuned for a beginner s first experience with a shotgun. Its special recoil-reducing chamber works together with a rubber recoil pad to soften the felt kick of 3 shells letting new shooters build confidence instead of flinching at the bench or in the field. The 18.5 steel barrel accepts standard Beretta and Benelli Mobil chokes so the gun can be set up for anything from patterning practice to small game and upland work as the shooter grows into it. A 2-position firing pin block safety keeps the action secure between shots and the blade front sight gives a clear simple aiming reference for a shooter just learning the fundamentals. The fixed walnut stock is finished to pair with the black steel barrel and receiver for a classic look that does not sacrifice durability in the field. At a 12.01 length of pull and an overall length of 37.4 the stock dimensions are sized to fit smaller shooters comfortably while still leaving room to grow. A 4.2 lb total weight keeps the gun light enough to carry and shoulder repeatedly through a full day of instruction without wearing out young arms. Built right-handed and backed by Crickett s long reputation for introducing new generations to the shooting sports the My First Shotgun is in stock and ready for sale at GrabAGun for families starting a young hunter s first season.
